Very hot again. Up to about one o'clock. Then a breeze sprang up and a change came for the better. Home tonight and again watered the garden. Tessie and I listened in on the radio to the announcement of the landing at Roosevelt Field of Post and Gatty, who tonight completed an around the world flight in eight days and sixteen hours, a daring record in every way.
