Thursday, July 2, 1931 Not quite so warm today but hot enough. Lunch down town at Longley's on Elm St. Home to dinner tonight and after watering the lawns and shrubs, I went over to the Spring Glen Club to a board meeting making plans for a Fourth of July celebration. Barman and Bailey Ringling Bros Circus in town today. I did not even see a wagon. They unloaded up on Broadbents Siding on the Canal Line tracks above Winchesters.
