Tuesday, July 14, 1931 At the Commodore Hotel in New York City attending the Wall Paper Convention. Hot and steamy day. Very humid. Had breakfast with Andy Gibson and Joe Gerry. Looked over the lines of Becker, Smith, and Page. Haffelfinger and Paul Gilbert. Had lunch with Andy Gibson and Mr. Cabban of Cabban Bros. of Laurence, Mass. Had dinner alone and went to the National Theatre to see "Grand Hotel". It was a fine show.
