Monday, July 20, 1931 Very muggy today. Busy at the store all day. Not that we are selling very much but there is always a lot to do. Walter Smith and I got the top floor ready for the new wall paper books and a place to do our selecting of the new line. Violette called me up today to tell me that Aunt Mame had been down to Bridgeport visiting Auntie "B" and had called her up and had asked her to call us and give us her love.
