Cloudy and clear today but still quite cold. We had a fire in the fireplace while eating breakfast. Mr. Blanton's furniture arrived from North Carolina today and I had to go down to the freight station and examine it as some pieces were broken. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Don Adams spoke on new president of the Chamber of Commerce. Home to dinner tonight. Peter called for me with the Packard. I planted forty bulbs of "Glads" and spread some peat moss around the shrubbery. Ed and Alice Cole called tonight to see Sarah and Peter.
