A beautiful clear sunshiny June day after the showers of last night. In to the store and then Mr. Chamberlain took me out to the Beebe house on 134 West Rock Ave. to see how the paper hangers were getting along preparing the house for Mr. and Mrs. Blanton. Had lunch down town then Peter called for me and drove me out to the Hamden Town Hall, where the parade formed to march on Legion Field for the Community Field Day. I marched on the staff of Captain Bamford, Marshall. I came back home on the trolly. Finished putting peat moss on the borders and sprayed the roses. We all dressed and went over to the Spring Glen Nite Club. We had a good time at a nice affair. Peter and Sally were with us and we took Aletha Knapp Stone also. Sally visited Auntie Violette today.
