Monday, June 8, 1931 Muggy and showery all day. Tessie took me in to the store this morning. I took care of my mail then started with Mr. Chamberlain and visited customers at New London, Norwich, and Willimantic. We had lunch at the Mohican in New London. I called on Bob and Midge Chandler and saw the new baby. He's a dear. We came home from Willimantic via Portland, Middletown, Meriden, Cheshire, and home. Sarah and Peter drove down to Norwalk to visit Fred and Alice Lockwood. They came back to Westville and had dinner with June and Jack Benetto.
