Sunshine at last, for today at least. Tessie took me in to the office and took Helen Noble and baby in at the same time. Harley went to Springfield and Franklin and Lois went along too. Lois to attend her reunion at Smith College. I had luncheon at the Quinnipiac Club. Met Arin Spencer there and we talked over automobile transportation for Mr. Blanton, our new minister at Calvary Church. Home to dinner tonight. Roy Stransky here with us from Chicago. Grant and Helen Noble called tonight to see Sally and Peter. A graduation class of 925 graduated from Hillhouse High School today. Alice Hodges, while out riding with "Mother" Smith and Lois' baby Jane, had a bad smash up at Woodmont and a narrow escape from serious injury. The baby wasn't hurt a bit. The car was smashed up.
