Sunday, June 14, 1931 Another lovely June day. We all had breakfast together, Mother, Peter, Sally, and I. Then I drove into town to church at Calvary. Mr. Blanton preached his second sermon and a good one too. The folks came in town and we all had dinner at the "Prattonia", eating out on the porch. We then came out home, Peter bringing Roy Stransky with him. They packed a lot of Peter's and Sally's stuff into "Toby" and we packed the balance in to the Packard and at 2-45, we all started for Stockbridge, Mass. going via Farmington, Unionville, Winsted, Otis, East Lee. We left them at Mrs. Murphy's for the night and Mother and I started back home the way we went up. We stopped and had some supper at Farmington, arriving home about ten o'clock.
