Rained hard all the morning. Stopped raining till about 9-30 tonight so the Yale graduates were able to hold their parade to Yale field and play the base ball game with Harvard, which Yale won 7 to 3. It was a mighty good game too. Tessie and I attended and enjoyed it a lot. Albie Booth played third base and turned in a good game. T.P.H. and I hurried home, changed our clothes, and drove down to the Whitneyville Church House and attended a dinner of the Hamden Chamber of Commerce. It was the first one we had attended but felt that as we are citizens of the town, we should attend these functions. We held no Rotary luncheon today as we vacate the Hotel Taft as a favor to the management on the busy Yale day.
