Sunday, June 28, 1931 Beautiful day. Clear, cool, and lovely. After breakfast, I went in town on the trolly car. Attended church service at Calvary. No church school today. Mr. Blanton preached a fine sermon. Clayton and Lota were at church. Mr. and Mrs. Blanton came out to dinner at our house. We rode out in his car. Mother had one of her fine dinners and we did enjoy having them come so much. This evening we had supper out of doors under the big tree. Jack Dyer came along and had a cup of tea with us. Tessie and I listened to "Seth and Mother Parker" over the radio then went to bed.
