Tuesday, June 30, 1931 Well this has been some hectic day. The second hottest day of the year. Thermometer 93°. Mr. Wallace Bennett of Salt Lake City, Utah called at the store to talk to us about Wall Paper. They are thinking of entering this field of merchandise. I drove to Bridgeport to speak at the Bridgeport Rotary Club luncheon. I took Mr. Bennett with me. I spoke to the new members of the Bridgeport Club. We drove back to New Haven over the Shore Road and stopped at Harley's home and say Baby Jane. I then took Mr. Bennett out to the Yale Bowl and through the college campus and buildings. Home to dinner tonight and spent the evening watering the lawn. [Prev](1931_06_29.md) - [Next](1931_07_01.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/11y87ROdFf8lCgE9gf2c30yOkJUWoNDMc">
