Took the Packard in this morning. had took it up to "Jimmie" on Winthrop Ave. to have him diagnose the trouble. He later told me that this radiator was stopped up with scale and that I would have to have a new core. Mrs. Wood still at home with the "grippe". It ties me all up at the office. Sarah had luncheon with Professor Baker at the Yale Drama School this noon. We held the annual meeting of the Broadway Ass'n to at Longley's new restaurant at 96 Elm Street between Church and Orange Streets. I presided, being president. Our guest speakers were Mayor Tully, Charles Morris, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Fulton Ferguson, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, Kenneth Wyme, secretary to Governor Wilbur Cross, David Langrock was elected president. Hawley Lincoln v. prest. David Dean Smith secy + tress.
