Monday, March 9, 1931 Clearing after the deluge of yesterday. Busy at the office all day. Had lunch at the Quinnipiac Club on Chapel St. Went with Harley this afternoon over to the New Haven Hospital to see Lois and her brand new daughter "Jane Elizabeth". Both looked very well as at this stage of the game. Tessie and Sally called for me at six o'clock and we came out home and had dinner here. Richmond Curtiss called to see Sally and to say goodbye to us for a while as he is leaving Thursday A.M. for Louisiana to finish his forestry course down there.
