Tuesday, March 10, 1931 Let mother sleep this morning. Went in on the trolly. Attended New Haven Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft. Ray Westerfield was speaker of the day. He spoke on the economic situation of the world. Came home and had dinner at home then drove over to Ray Reigeluth's house to a meeting of the past presidents of the New Haven Rotary Club. We went over the matter concerning the coming election. Ray then invited us down in to his game room, where we played "Ping Pong" and "Hockey". He also served some refreshments.
