Another typical March day. Drove in to the office. Took care of my mail then drove to Springfield. Had lunch there then went with Mr. Page to Northampton to call on our customer J. Hugh Pierce. Went back to Springfield and called Mrs. Newell on the phone. She told me Muriel is still waiting for baby. Drove home. Had dinner with Tessie here at home then I went over to the new Armory on Goffe Street for the annual meeting of the Grays Veteran Ass'n. We held it in the Gill Room of the new Foot Gaurd Armory. Major F.G. Crabb was elected President, Major Carl F. Ballmann Vice President. Phillip F. Amann and Charles V. King and myself were elected members of the Executive Board to serve three year. We had a fine evening together. Sarah went down to New York today to visit the Glaenzers and Buddy Wicks.
