Saturday, March 14, 1931 A lovely March day, cool but delightful. We were all at store all day long till five P.M. We finished our Wall Paper Sample Books and let all the girls go tonight. Will keep two boys to finish putting the last books on stands. It has been a long job. We began printing the first book Dec 1 1930. Came home on the trolly car and came to an abrupt halt on Whitney Ave. Just above the Whitney Dam, a Waterbury car coming out Whitney Ave. jumped the track and another car going into town crashed into it.
