A wonderful day, clear and cool. Got up at five A.M. (Sunday too). Tessie also. She got breakfast ready and we drove into town and met Charles and Lou Lincoln and Hawley and May Lincoln at Beecher Bennett and Lincoln's, cor. Howe St. and Broadway and we five started for Southville, Mass. (East of Worcester) to hear a Mr. Sankey I. Blanton preach as a possible pastor for Calvary Church. We all liked him very much. We met him and his wife after the service and he promised to come down and preach for us soon. Who knows what the result may. mean for our church. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer and Mr. and Mrs. Marrion went to Boston on a similar errand to hear J. Whitcomb Brougher preach. God will guide us to a proper choice.
