Monday, March 16, 1931 Cloudy today but only spots of rain. Tessie took me to the office then came back home then called for me again at 10-30 and we drove down to Norwalk. I to speak at the Norwalk Rotary Club while Tessie went to Alice Drew Lockwood and met Sally there. Sarah had been in New York for a few days and came up today as far as Norwalk. Alice and Fred met her and took her home with them. They all had lunch together. We came home and on the way we stopped in Milford and called on Emogene Shaffer. She is expecting another baby very soon. I stopped off at the office and took care of my mail then came home on the trolly car. We all three had dinner together and spent the evening here.
