Tuesday, March 17, 1931 Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. A Brigadier of the Salvation Army spoke on their work. Clayton has been sick a week now with the grippe. Violette now has it. Poor girl. She has had one thing right after the other. Came home tonight and Mother, Sally, and I had dinner here and spent the evening together. It is so nice to have her with us.
