Saturday, March 21, 1931 This is the first day of Spring and really the first Spring-like day. The wind still sharp but the sun warm. Worked all day at the office till five o'clock. Tessie and Sarah, who had been down and called on Lois and baby, called for me and we came home to dinner. Later I received a telephone call from the Hotel Taft from the Rev. Sankey L. Blanton, who has come down from Newton Center to preach for us tomorrow. I drove in to the Hotel Taft and visited with him for a couple of hours. I think I shall him. When I arrived back home, I found that Aletha and Larry Stone had come in to call on Sally and say goodby to her.
