Monday, March 23, 1931 Another fine day. Tessie is real sick with the grippe. I took the car in town and had George change the oil. Went down to Hotel Taft and had breakfast with Mr. Blanton. Talked things over with him with regard to his coming to Calvary. Enjoyed him very much. Left the store at about 5-30 and drove out and called on Violette and Clayton, who are both sick with the grippe. Then I drove to Meriden, Conn. and helped put on a demonstration of Wetherill's materials. Came home about midnight. Harley has been sick since last Wednesday.
