Beautiful day, clear and sunny. A cool wind though. We got up about eight o'clock. Had breakfast. Tessie took me in to Calvary Church School then she came back home, got ready, and later went in to St. Paul's Church. I stayed to church service at Calvary. Mr. Cleverdon preached and Prof. William Lyon Phelps helped him with the communion service. Tessie called for me and we went up to the "Prattonia" to dinner. Afterwards, we stopped at Grant and Helen Noble's at their new home on Edgewood Ave. Her father and mother were there. We came out home and I worked out of doors digging dandelions out of the lawn. We had our supper upstairs in the living room.
