Wednesday, May 6, 1931 We are preparing for the Rotary District Conference tomorrow. I went down to the Taft Hotel and made a final check on the rooms and suites engaged for the special guests. Called at the Shubert Theatre for tickets engaged for the ladies for tomorrow to see "The Third Little Show". Had my lunch at Quinnipiac Club then went down to costumers and got my coat for the minstrel show tomorrow night. Went home to dinner and then down to the Lawn Club for dress rehearsal of the minstrel show. Went over pretty well.
