Sunday, May 10, 1931 Heavy thunder shower early this morning. Then another terrific shower tonight with a drop in temperature of 30° in a few hours in between the showers. The day was lovely and very warm. I drove in to Calvary to church school and church. Taught my class of men. Spent the whole session talking about Mothers Day and children in the home. Fred and Alice Lockwood came to dinner. We were so glad to have them. We walked around out of doors and enjoyed the sunshine. Called up Sarah tonight in Chicago. She is feeling fine. This is Harley's and Alice thirty second wedding anniversary. They left yesterday for Rindge N.H. and the lake.
