Thursday, May 14, 1931 Rained again nearly all day. Mr. Matlack here again this morning in conference with Harley and me. Luncheon meeting at Quinnipiac Club with Mr. Anderson and Mr. Howard Palmer regarding Calvary Baptist church finance dinner meeting and conference of Executive Board of Boys Scout Council at Graduates Club, 155 Elm Street. I presided as president of Council. Tessie called for me at eight and rushed me out to the Spring Glen Club to a rehearsal of the Rotary Club Minstrels. We are to repeat the performance for the benefit of the families next week Thursday.
