Saturday, May 16, 1931 A cloudy, showery, sunshiney day. All kinds of weather. Worked till about four o'clock. Came home. Painted stool and bread boxes, etc, to match the new kitchen paint. Put up hooks and towel racks in the kitchen and glass shelf and towel racks in upstairs bathroom. Also dug up some dandelions out of doors. Derby Day. Cornell won the boat race. Yale second. Princeton third. Cornell also won the J.V. race. Yale took the freshman and 150 pound races.
