Sunday, May 17, 1931 A beautiful day. Bright sun shine. I drove into town to church school and church at Calvary. A church meeting followed the morning service at which a draft of the new constitution was read. We had dinner at home. I worked all afternoon digging weeds out of the lawn. Drove over to the Westville M.E. Church at 7-30 and spoke to the Boy Scouts of Troop 9.
