A beautiful day all day long. Busy at the store all day. Did not go to Springfield as Mr. Page and Mr. Fitch will come to New Haven tomorrow to our monthly salesmens meeting. Tessie called for me at six and we had dinner at home. I changed my clothes and drove out the Masonic temple in Westville and attended the public installation of Miss Harriet Toole as worthy advisor of the "Rainbow Assembly". I was asked to be speaker of the evening which I was very glad to be on account of my great admiration for Harriet Toole since her earliest primary department days. It was a lovely ceremony and all the girls looked so lovely.
