Rained torrents nearly all day long. heavy thunder shower early this morning and struck a large maple tree in front Paul Webb's house and shattered it badly. We held our monthly salesmens meeting at the store this morning. Mr. Page and Mr. Fitch came down from the Springfield store. Bob Shafer of the Conn. Products Co. came down and demonstrated "Dick a doo", a paint cleaner. Tessie called for me at six o'clock and we went out to the Edgewood Club to supper and the annual meeting was held later in the evening. After supper, I presented the bowling prizes to the winners of the annual tournament, both men and women.
