Monday, May 25, 1931 It cleaned up today but it is still cold. We had to have a furnace fire at the store to be comfortable. This afternoon, Tessie brought the car to the store for me. I took her home then drove over to the Armory and met the State Gaurd Group of the New Have Grays. This is the 10th Anniversary of the mustering out of the state Gaurd Company F. into Civil Life. We left the Armory and drove out to the American Legion Headquarters at North Haven. We had our annual dinner there with a speaking program following. Then we adjourned to the bowling alleys and bowled till a late hour. It was nice to see so many fellows that we had not seen for a long time.
