Friday, May 29, 1931 Another scorcher. The temperature mounted to 93 degrees. The hottest day we have had since last August. Mother and Sarah in shopping today. We had dinner at home. Sarah and Peter had dinner with Ed and Alice Cole. Mother and I called for Mrs. Frank Smith and we went into the Yale Theatre to see the last play put on by the students of the Department of Drama for the season. Sally and Peter stayed for a reunion party. Many former drama students being back. We went up to "Smelly's" and had some soda then came home. So nice to have Sarah and Peter at home again.
