We arose fairly early. I took the car in town to attend church school at Calvary. Let my mens class for the first time this Fall. Church service followed. At the Communion Service, Prof. William Lyon Phelps assisted Mr. Blanton and gave a short talk on this memorial. Tessie attended St. Paul's Church and I called for her after the service. We had dinner at the new Quinnipiac Club. We then drove to the store and got an order of Wall Paper and drove to Danbury, Conn. and delivered it to one of our customers there. We went up and came back over the new Stevenson Dam road. We ran into a hard shower up there.
