Monday, November 2, 1931 Another beautiful day. Snappy but not cold. Busy at the store all day. Lunch at P. Ring's on Elm Street. District Governor Paul Kieser from Springfield called for me and took me with him to Norwalk where he made his official visit to the Norwalk Rotary Club. We met at a new place called the Fountain Inn. We had a good dinner and a good meeting followed by a general discussion. Paul brought me home and although we urged him to spend the night with us, he felt that he must go on home.
