Friday, November 6, 1931 Fine day but colder. Alice and Fred Lockwood came up from Norwalk today and we all had luncheon at the new Quinnipiac Club and had a nice visit with them. Down to Calvary Church to supper. Teachers meeting followed by a reception to Mr. and Mrs. Blanton and Mr. Brinkley, our new pastor and assistant. Tessie came in later to the reception. The Blantons were so happy about it. We brought Mrs. Thissel and Helen back out to Spring Glen with us. We had a letter from Sarah. They all are very well and quite busy.
