Saturday, November 7, 1931 Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to 22°. First real breeze of the Fall. Worked at office all the morning. Had lunch in Longley's then went out alone to the Yale Bowl and saw Yale beat St. John's of Annapolis 52 to 0. Olive Booth is captain of this year's Yale team. Came back to the store and T.P.H. picked me up there and we went out to the Edgewood Club to a turkey supper. Met many old friends out there. Came home early. Harvard won from Dartmouth 7 to 6.
