Saturday, November 14, 1931 Another fine day, quite warm. Cloudy tonight. I went out to the Yale Bowl this afternoon and saw the Yale and Harvard 150 lb teams play football. Yale won 14 to 0 and it was an interesting game. Very fast and a lot of forward passing. I came home on the trolly car and had dinner at home. We dressed and went in to the Yale Theatre. "The Audience" gave to Prof. Baker and the Department of Drama a bronze bust of Eugene O'neil, who was a pupil of Mr. Baker at the "47 Workshop" at Harvard. Afterwards, the department put on two of O'neil's plays, "East of Cardiff" and "The Emperor Jones". Both were superbly build up. The important football games today. Harvard 7 Holy Cross 0. Princeton 0 Welbam and Mary 6. Dartmouth 14 Cornell 0. Notre Dame 20 Navy 0. Tulane 20 Georgia 7. Pittsburgh 26 Army 0.
