Sunday, November 15, 1931 Rained nearly all day. Got up and drove in to Calvary Church to church school and to church service. Mr. Blanton preached a powerful sermon on missions "The Torah Bearers". I came home, got Tessie, and drove down to West Haven and had dinner with Alice and Harley. Mrs. Smith, Lois, Franklin, and Jane also at dinner. Baby Jane is certainly a little darling. I went over with Harley and looked over the little house he has built for sale. We came home and called on Mr. and Mrs. Tiffany on the way home but they were not at home. Wrote a letter to Sally out in St. Paul then listened to the radio program of all movieland stars performing for the unemployment relief fund.
