Thursday, November 26, 1931 Much cooler today. Wind right out of the North. Our stores closed all day long. I worked all morning taking out the window screens and put them in the cellar. Put our flower boxes away also. We had Fred and Alice Lockwood for dinner and we were so happy to have them with us. Tessie had her usual good dinner. Georgie was here to help her. Peter and Sally with Peter Hodges and Olive went down from St. Paul to Mason City, Iowa to have dinner with Peters family. It was nice for the Barkers to have them. We listened to the Pennsylvania - Cornell game over the radio. Cornell won 7 to 0.
