Clear this morning but cloudy by noon. But no rain fell. The ground is covered with snow. Princeton played Yale here today and it looked so strange to see snow all around the field and on the seats. The playing field had been covered with huge canvas covers so that was all bare. Yale won 51 to 14. The largest score ever collected against Princeton. The record score before today was Yale 32, Pr 0 in 1890. Yeckley is captain at Princeton and Witmer is coach. Albie Booth is Yale's captain and Mal Stevens is coach. Booth did not play today as he is in the New Haven Hospital with near pneumonia. This has been the worst season Princeton has ever had. She the won the first game from Amherst and has lost every other game. This is Witmer's first year as coach. Army won from Notre Dame 12 to 0 and Stanford beat Dartmouth 23 to 6 in the Harvard Stadium. We went to Grant Noble's to a tea after the game. Nat Noble came in before we left.
