At Swampscott, Mass. attending Fall Conclave of the 30th Rotary District. Another beautiful day. We all had breakfast together. At the head table were many of our special guests. Sports and games were played all the morning. In formal luncheon at noon with no speaking. More sports this afternoon with an automobile trip up the North Shore to many interesting historical spots. Al Colvin stayed in the hotel all afternoon getting ready for our "Nite Club" at 11 P.M. Dinner tonight with Don Adams and Ray Knoeppel were the speakers. I gave out the prizes to the winners after dinner. There was dancing in the ballroom and bridge playing in the parlors till eleven. Then the nite club opened in the Colonial Room. It was a riot. Al Lavery dressed in woman's attire, acted as "Hostel de. Luxe". Al Colvin, Jim Gunn, and I were waitresses as "Alicia Allan", "Jasamine Jane", and "Veronica Vernon", respectively.
