Awoke and got up on the "Wolverine" train, Chicago to Boston. Shaved and dressed and left the train at Springfield, Mass. at 7-55 A.M. Went up to the Springfield store and worked all day with them. Called on the Springfield W.P. Co., Highland W.P.C., and the New York Wallpaper Co. to inform them of the action of the Chicago meetings regarding the marking of Sample Books for 1932. Went over to the Bryan Hardware Co. in Westfield. Had lunch in Westfield. Back to Springfield and I took the 4-35 train for New Haven. Tessie met me and we had dinner at home. Miss Burritt, Sarah's nurse, had dinner with us. Sarah and Olive are busy packing to leave tomorrow for Chicago and St. Paul. Gee! We hate to think of their going. The little darling has just won all of our hearts.
