Lovely day. Cool and clear at the office this morning and started to clear up my desk. Mr. Chute of Toranto, Canada called. he represents Davedge and Co., who sell us Japanese gross cloth. We had lunch together at the Hotel Taft then went out to the Yale Bowl and saw Georgia beat Yale 26 to 7 at football. Yale was no match for them, they were giants. We were sorry for Albie Booth, captain this year. We came in from the bowl on the trolly car then I got the Packard at the store and drove home, changed my clothes, got Tessie, and drove down to Norwalk to spend this weekend with Alice and Fred. They waited dinner for us.
St. Louis won the seventh game from Philadelphia and the World Series. They played at St. Louis.
