Tuesday, October 13, 1931 Very cold this morning, down to 32°. I was fearful for our dahlias but they did not seem to have been caught with the frost. I am so glad they are fruitful now. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Ray Reigeluth showed us his moving picture taken in Canada and Alaska this Summer. They were fine. Went down to the camera shop and got some snapshots of Baby Peter that were printed. Harley and Alice went up to the Lake with Dr. and Mrs. Kowalewake. it is the "K's" anniversary and they will spend tomorrow there. Home to dinner tonight. Tessie has just gone down to the mailbox with a letter for Sally at St. Paul.
