Wednesday, October 14, 1931 Not so cold today. Cloudy tonight. Looks like rain. Harley away today. he is up in New Hampshire with Dr. Kowelewski. Back tomorrow. Had lunch today at the new Quinnipiac Club on Church Street between Elm and Wall Streets. We gave up the old house on Chapel Street next door to the Taft the first of October. The new home is just wonderful. So spacious and comfortable. Went down to Bridgeport with Mr. Chamberlain. We called at "Conbins" and talked to Mr. Wax Geiser about marking the new wall paper sample books the new way. Came home via Shelton and Derby. Home to dinner tonight and spent the whole evening arranging my Fall Conclave files. We received a letter form Sarah written from Chicago. She said little Peter was just as good as could be all the way out on the train. They were to go on to St. Paul on Monday.
