Much warmer today. Hard shower tonight. The country is very dry. we have had no frost yet. Out dahlias are just as lovely as ever. Went into the office this morning. Left at 10 A.M. for Springfield store. Had a luncheon meeting at the Hotel Kimball with all the wall paper wholesalers. We met to talk over the new plan of making Sample Books. Very happy meeting. Worked at the Springfield store with Clarence Page. Then drove down home and had dinner at home with Tessie. They have had a frost up in Massachusetts. We received a night letter from Sarah this morning saying that she had reached St. Paul safely and that the house was ideal and both "Peters" were all right.
