A really fine day, cool and brilliant sunshine. We had a light frost last night that touched some of our dahlias. Not all of them. I took the car in this morning and about eleven o'clock drove over to Saybrook, Conn. to the Pease House at Saybrook Point and spoke at the luncheon of the Saybrook Rotary Club on the Aims and Objects Plamt. Drove back to the offices. It was such a beautiful day for a drive along the Shore Line. Had supper down at Calvary Church followed by a meeting of the official board. Brought Deacon Graner out with me also Ruby Weed.
