Tuesday, October 27, 1931 Tessie felt so poorly this morning, her "tummy" being upset that she remained in bed. I went in town on the trolly and got my breakfast in town. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Prof. of Yale spoke on the Gold Standard. Walter Smith brought me home in his car. Tessie feels some better tonight. We supper here at home. Aletha and Larry called for a few minutes. Army officers today took the body of Cadet Richard B. Sheriden back to West Point for burial. All the collegiate world are shocked over this sad accident. Tessie feeling pretty rocky, has a bad "tummy". Grippe she thinks. [Prev](1931_10_26.md) - [Next](1931_10_28.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1P5pdPw8CthjpaNDwDyD7qVyL09MsXokE">
