Monday, September 7, 1931 Peter, Buddy, and Roy Stransky arrived from Stockbridge, Mass. about three A.M. this morning. They are now all through for this year at the Berkshire Playhouse. Buddy had to leave on an early train for New York this morning so Mother got up and prepared his breakfast and Peter took him into the station. I had breakfast then drove in to the store and worked till one o'clock working up the Road Books for Springfield store. Came home to lunch then Mother and I went up to the cemetery and put flowers on all the graves and then went down to the hospital and visited with Sarah and little Peter. We came home and Mother, Peter, Roy Stransky, and I went over to the Spring Glen Club for supper. Spring Glen tennis team played West Point officers team and won. Peter and Roy went over to hospital to visit with Sarah. So cool we had a fire in the fire place.
