Wednesday, September 9, 1931 Cold this morning but it grew very warm during the day. Went over to the New Haven Hospital to see Sarah and Little Peter. Found Big Peter there visiting them as he leaves for St. Paul tomorrow. I left them to each other and went over to the Quinnipiac Club to luncheon. Worked all the afternoon on Wall Paper. Came home to dinner tonight and worked this evening getting settled upstairs so as to give our room and bath to Sarah and Miss Burritt. Peter came over from the hospital and finished crating their furniture that will go to St. Paul.
